You open Mega Fortune and see two sets of numbers. One goes up to 59. The other stops at 20. Before you even think about a selection, there’s a fair question: why are there two?
They do different jobs. Mega Fortune combines five main numbers with one Powerball, and understanding that distinction is the starting point for reading your ticket.
Start with the two number pools
Your five main numbers come from 1 to 59. You then select one Powerball from a separate pool of 1 to 20. Keep those pools separate when you check your entry and the result. A number appearing in one pool does not automatically count as a match in the other.
What does a game line cost?
The entry cost is ₦150 per game line. If you’re checking several lines, look at the total on the confirmation screen before you go ahead. The cost of one line and the cost of the whole ticket are different things.
Know the deadline before you need it
Draws are scheduled for Wednesday and Saturday at 7:00pm, with entries closing at 6:45pm. That 15-minute gap matters. The draw time is not the entry deadline, so check the date and closing time on the platform rather than relying on memory.
How do the prizes work?
The top prize requires all five main numbers and the Powerball to match. There are eight prize levels, with other qualifying combinations explained in the prize table.
The base jackpot is ₦150 million, with a total rollover cap of ₦350 million. Multiple qualifying top-prize winners share the jackpot. Check the amount attached to the particular draw; a base figure is not a promise about every draw.
