You choose 2, 4 and 7. Later, the result shows 7, 4 and 2. Same digits, different order. Does that count?
With Pick 3, you can’t answer that by looking at the digits alone. You also need to know the play variant on the ticket. Let’s walk through the part that is easy to overlook.
First, what are you picking?
You select 3 digits, each from 0 to 9. Repeated digits are allowed. The entry cost is ₦100 per play, so check the total cost of everything on your confirmation screen.
The order matters when you choose Straight
With Straight, your digits need to match the result in the exact order. For example, 2-4-7 and 7-4-2 are different ordered sequences. Seeing the same digits in a different order does not meet the Straight condition.
Box accepts eligible rearrangements. Straight/Box combines the two types using the same digits. Each has its own matching conditions, so read the variant name as carefully as the selection itself.
Repeated digits need a closer look
The pattern of your digits affects Box eligibility and the payout category. A selection with repeated digits does not have the same pattern as one where every digit is different. Use the prize table for your exact combination rather than assuming that every Box entry is treated alike.
Put the closing time in your plan
The midday draw closes at 11:45am; the evening draw closes at 5:45pm. Both are 15 minutes before the scheduled draw.
Before you confirm, check that the game and draw shown on Golotto are the ones you intended. Save the ticket or digital confirmation so you can compare the details with our Golotto results later.
What should you remember?
Your digits, their order and your play variant belong together. If one part is unclear, pause and read our Pick 3 rules before deciding. Choosing a familiar sequence or using someone else’s suggestion does not guarantee a result.
